Danish-American Voice Actress Sarah Wiedenheft’s first foray into acting was an audition for her High School’s production of Beauty and The Beast. “They wouldn’t even let me be a spoon!” she cried to her parents, having failed to land a role. But she was a persistent little thing and she clawed her way into the next musical. And the next.
Then, fresh out of college, she learned about voiceover. In the VO world, her theatrical experience could combine with her love for singing to form a deadly weapon and she was going to use it. At age 19, she got her start at FUNimation and went on to lend her voice to numerous anime dubs, original animations, and video games. Whether cast as a series lead or a humble spoon, she is overjoyed just to be part of the magic.
When she isn’t acting you can find her drawing, singing, hurkle-durkling, playing piano, crafting, tending to her quail, gardening, or hitting herself on something.
