Few voiceover talent are as versatile as Ric Spiegel. Working seamlessly between commercial radio & TV, corporate and medical narration, e-learning, museum audio tours & exhibits, credible international accents, and a wide range of character and specialty reads, Ric has long been a go-to voice here and abroad, including Mexico, Canada, Australia and the UK. He is also a staple in animated film and gaming, voicing principal characters in popular, long-running games like Borderlands 1,2, & 3, the Age of Empires series (among many others), live-action TV series, and holiday talking toys. As a narrator on numerous documentaries, Ric has voiced programs on PBS, A&E, the History channel and the Travel channel.
Ric’s been a mimic since he was a kid. His stage debut was at age seven. Working early on in his father’s photographic store, he had a camera in his hand from a young age. (He even shot photos once in a while.) Before becoming a full time actor and voiceover artist, Ric was a writer and producer at the UT Health Science Center, worked as publicity director at Theatre Three for founders Jac and Norma Alder, and produced one of the first live productions of “Rocky Horror Show” in the US at the Dallas Convention Center Theater.
