Lydia Mackay is an actor with over 20 years’ experience on stage, on screen, and in the voice-over realm. She’s voiced over 200 characters in the anime and gaming worlds, most notably as Boa Hancock in One Piece. She is currently an Associate Professor of Performance in the Department of Theatre at Texas Christian University, where she teaches Auditioning, Voice Over, Stage Movement, Stage Combat, and Devised Theatre. In addition to being an actor and theatre educator, she performs live readings, produces, directs, and designs fight choreography. She holds an MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University and is an RYT500 Certified Yoga Teacher. She’s a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association, the Society of American Fight Directors, Yoga Alliance, and the Association of Theatre Movement Educators.
