Laura Martinez was born in San Antonio, Texas. Her father was a career Army officer, offering her the opportunity to travel and live throughout the world in such places as Europe and South Korea, but has always felt Texas was home. She fell in love with acting in high school, spent years doing theatre, acquiring her Bachelors and Masters in Performing Arts. Laura, crazy enough, started her film/TV career as an extra on Friday Night Lights (the series). Being on set was exhilarating, and there was no turning back! Since then she’s been honored to work on numerous film, television, and commercial projects. Most recently Laura has begun producing films with her husband in-between opportunities. She loves raising her children, reading, and dabbling in hobbies ranging from embroidery to refurbishing furniture, not to mention sharing a glass of whiskey with her husband at the end of the day. There is no doubt that all of Laura’s life experiences have helped mold her into the actress she is today!
