JULIE JOHNSON has enjoyed a varied and exciting career spanning film, television, Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre and concerts. Julie is best known as the voice of Baby Bop on BARNEY AND FRIENDS for 20 years. She just completed 3 years with the North American Tour of COME FROM AWAY. Julie made her Carnegie Hall debut singing with the New York Pops Orchestra.  She portrayed Mama in the first national tour of MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL!  Broadway:  CANDIDE;  Off-Broadway: DAS BARBECU ( Theatre World Award), Angel in THE RINK  Regional: Dolly in HELLO DOLLY, Mrs. Lovett in SWEENEY TODD,  Domina in A FUNNY THING… FORUM at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington, D.C.,  Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Bass Hall,   ROCKY HORROR SHOW, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, all at the Dallas Theater Center.  Movie credits include PURE COUNTRY and THE APOSTLE with Robert Duvall.
