Cameron Wisener is a Texas-grown actress, singer, puppeteer, and record spinner currently residing in Dallas.
Growing up in The Middle of a Cornfield, TX (a town thirty minutes south of San Antonio), Cameron was an incredibly dramatic child who involved herself in everything: sports, band, academia, and of course, theatre. At a young age, she loved imitating scenes from movies she saw at the local movie theater for anyone who was willing to entertain her oddball humor. It was to no one’s surprise that she ended up pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX.
Now, she’s been seen onstage at theatres all over Dallas, most recently at Ochre House Theatre leading their production of ‘Blood Hammer Girl’. She is also a writer and performer in The Folding Chairs Sketch Comedy Group. Her favorite sketch she’s done is about people LARPing as rats.
When she’s not onstage, in front of a camera, or in the recording booth, she can be found at your local record store digging through crates and spreading the gospel of 60’s Power Pop.
