Matthew Posey began his film and television career in 1983 when he played Eugene in the movie “Places in the Heart.” He has been acting for over 35 years and has been in over 50 major film and television productions. Matthew’s career highlights include, “True Stories,” “JFK,” “Lonesome Dove,” “No Country For Old Men,” “Rectify,” “American Crime,” and “Temple Grandin,” to name a few. More recently, Matthew can be seen in Antoine Fuqua’s blockbuster film “Magnificent Seven,” and in AMC’s “The Son.”
Matthew is also the Artistic Director and Founder of Ochre House Theater, where he has written and directed over 40 plays. His acting career spans over 35 years of stage, having worked at several theatres across the country, including The Alley Theater, Dallas Theater Center, New Arts Theater, Los Angele’s The Attic Theater, and The Ochre House.
