Johnny Reno has been performing as a musician and an actor for over thirty years. After studying acting for two years with Adam Rourke at the Film Actors Lab, Johnny made his theatrical stage debut at the Dallas Shakespeare Festival’s production of Two Gentlemen of Verona. The production featured a contemporary music score that Johnny was commissioned to write for the play. He landed film roles in Sin City, Planet Terror, Roadracers, Spy Kids (Robert Rodriguez), True Stories (David Byrne), Waiting for Guffman (Christopher Guest), and 1870 Texas (William Booth). His national television acting credits include Melrose Place (Fox), To Serve and Protect (CBS), The Chris Isaak Show (Showtime), and Elysian Fields (CBS).  Johnny is best known for his work as a musician and composer. In addition to singing and playing saxophone with his own band, he has released five albums of music and toured and recorded worldwide with Many other artists.  He was the music director and on camera bandleader for the multi-episode Paula Poundstone Show (HBO).  His original music has been featured in films, such as From Dusk Til Dawn, Sin City, Suicide Kings, Behind Enemy Lines, Dead Man on Campus, Roadracers and Spy Kids. His television music credits include ER, Bones, Dawson’s Creek, Entourage, Third Watch, Vanished, Homicide, and Melrose Place.
